Max Galka has created an interactive map that plots nearly a century of UFO sightings. The blue circles represent individual sightings, while the green circles are multiple accounts of the same event.
The bigger the green circle, the more reported sightings. When you click on the dots in the interactive version, available here, all the witness accounts and any photo and video “evidence” of the sighting will appear. As the Post’s Abby Ohlheiser writes, the sightings follow some interesting trends: For example, Americans have a tendency to see a lot more UFOs in the sky around the Fourth of July, when towns across the country plan fireworks shows.
